Saturday, July 12 & Sunday, July 13
10 am - 4 pm
An essential consideration before working with photo-lithography plates is the creation of strong visual sources integrating rich imagery and a diverse graphic language. High-quality photolithography prints stem from compelling drawings, thoughtfully composed visual material—both analog and digital—and the effective use of materials and surfaces in creating the source image.
This intensive two-day session provides artists with guided instruction for the development of visual sources for photo-lithography. Participants will experiment with a range of drawing materials and techniques on frosted Dura-Lar, with an emphasis on analog methods and optional integration of digital imagery.
