ANDREW STEARNS
Andrew is a Boston–based printmaker and the co-founder of New Impressions Print Studio. Blending creative practice with cultural leadership, he holds a BFA in Printmaking and Art History from Massachusetts College of Art and Design (2013), alongside an MS in Arts & Cultural Management (2025) and a Fundraising Management Certificate (2021) from Boston University.
With 13 years of experience in higher education admissions, Andrew is deeply committed to arts advocacy and education. He has taught printmaking at MassArt and local high schools, interned at Muskat Studios, and served a three-year term on the executive board of the Boston Printmakers. Through his studio practice, teaching, and administrative work, Andrew strives to build supportive creative communities and expand access to printmaking.

STACY FRIEDMAN
Stacy Friedman is a master printer, educator, and co-founder of New Impressions Print Studio in Somerville, MA. A recipient of the Blanche E. Colman Award (2024) and Mass Cultural Council Fellowship (2020), she holds a BFA in Printmaking and Art History from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (2015).
Stacy has spent her career working alongside dozens of artists to translate their visions into powerful print editions. Her extensive professional background includes running a collaborative printing practice out of Mixit Print Studio and Muskat Studios, as well as serving as the Print Studio Technician at Wellesley College. An accomplished instructor, she has taught printmaking at Boston University, MassArt, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Maud Morgan Arts, Station Street Studios, and internationally at Artist Proof Studio in Johannesburg, South Africa. She currently devotes her practice to building and expanding New Impressions Print Studio.
