This 3-day intensive workshop will guide participants through the process of creating complex, multicolor etchings. Learn how to etch copper plates to achieve a range of tonal values. Participants will create 3 plates that will be printed in different colors generating a broader palette through color interaction and pattern intersection.
Copper plates, etching tools, and grounds will be provided. Participants should bring their own printmaking paper and newsprint. A selection of papers will be available for purchase.
This workshop is limited to 6 participants.
