No printing press? No problem. Learn the basics of block printing on fabric to customize your clothes and bags. Using simple linocut techniques and water-based inks, we’ll design and carve unique stamps to print on textiles. We’ll cover tips and tricks for carving blocks, creating crisp prints, and heat-setting inks so your imagery lasts.
Blocks, carving tools, and inks provided during class, bring your own 100% cotton items to print on (tote bags, T-shirts, tea towels, napkins, etc. in light colors). No experience necessary, beginners to advanced students are welcome.
This workshop is limited to 8 participants.
