6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Drypoint is a basic intaglio technique where you scratch marks directly into a plate (plexi or metal), then force ink into the grooves. Drypoint has an iconic look, with its fuzzy line quality from the burr created by the scratching process. The final product can be both delicate and aggressive, depending on how you use the tools.
In this three-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of creating marks, inking and wiping the plate, and printing.
All materials are provided. No prior printmaking experience required.
