


Litho Bootcamp with Master Printer Carolyn Muskat

This 14-day intensive workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn everything you need to know about stone and aluminum plate lithography. We’ll do a deep dive into contemporary lithography techniques. De-mystifying processing and printing. During the first week, the focus will be on traditional stone lithography, followed by a week dedicated to aluminum plate lithography.
You’ll leave the workshop with a portfolio full of tests and prints and the knowledge to expand your practice and provide troubleshooting for years to come.
Limited to six participants and taught by master printer, Carolyn Muskat who has been working closely with artists for over 30 years, providing technical expertise and support for lithography.

Operating and maintaining lithography presses
Press operation and maintenance
Contemporary /greener materials for healthier litho
Drawing materials - crayons, tusche, and image transfer techniques
Processing - preparing to print and troubleshooting

Instructional hours Monday - Friday from 10 am - 4 pm with open studio access from 4 pm - 8 pm. Bootcamp participants will also have weekend access during the weekend between the two sessions and the weekend after.
